EXTRAVIRGIN OLIVE OIL D.O.P. AND ORGANIC

DOP (Denomination of Protected Origin) is the important recognition for the good qualities by which the European Community guarantees to the consumers the place of origin and our Baresan Povince typicalness,safeguarded by the “Terra di Bari- Terrautentica”syndacate. The environmental and growing conditions of olive-groves destined for our DOP oil production must be typical of the zone; cultivation and pruning must be traditional and not modify olives characteristics.

Biological olive-growing takes place without pesticides and plant protection products. To make the plant defend itself better and “naturally” from parasities, the care of the ground takes place with natural compost and respecting the rythms of the plant. “Luglio” organic oil exalts its organoleptic and heathful qualities by using it raw: from the simple vegetables to the roasted bread, from the legumes to the fish. Our organic extravirgin olive oil is ideal from those consumers who consider the relationship with nature their authentic vocation.

 
EXTRAVIRGIN OLIVE OIL

Extravirgin olive oil is typical for its genuineness in the daily use of the family. This oil is obtained from the first cold pressing of entire olives picked in the lands of Bari at the right degree of ripeness. The low contents of acidity and peroxides guarantee its high digestibility and let the flavours keeping intact for a long time . Its typical yellow-green colour, its fruit aroma, its sweet and bit bitter taste and its fruit and its almond aftertaste season the daily of the consumer with a “romantic” touch.

 
FLAVOURED EXTRAVIRGIN OLIVE OIL

Among al the Mediterranean cookeries, the italian one is characterized by seasoning. Luglios' offer an "alternative" oils range for the most particular cookery. PURE OLIVE AND POMACE OIL

Our olive oil is obtained selecting olives chosen among local qualities. They are picked by hand and pressed within few hours after the harvest, respecting the experience and tradition of more than fifty years. Luglio brings on the food a unique character, recognizable by the delicate balance between the aroma of the fresh and the sweet and almond taste that vanishes in a light scent of herbs. The whole has a meaningless acidity. An unicum for the typical Mediterranean cookery, appreciated by the most traditional palates.
